John, and his brother Don, closed both ends of a property selling for over $17 million dollars and hold the record for the highest dollar sale, to date, in the company and in Santa Fe County. John's background includes 41 years as a licensed general contractor, 5 years as a residential construction bank inspector, and 25 years as a full-time realtor. His expertise encompasses, high-end Estate properties, Ranches, Residential Homes, Lots, Subdivisions and Commercial properties.

His experience with the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County concerning land use, density, water conservation and historic properties, combined with his Green Building Certification, has helped John to protect the land and natural resources, and has brought him awards and recognition over the years. He helped pioneer and sell the only subdivision (Rancho de Bosque) with a wetlands waste water treatment system in Santa Fe County; allowing the owners to irrigate with their recycled grey water in the summer months.

John enjoys spending time cooking for his family and friends, gardening, exploring the outdoors, and is an avid fly fisherman. One member of his family, Buckley, his Labrador Retriever, has attained the national title of "Master Hunter" due to John's consistent training sessions as part of their evening walks.
