Don and his bother John DeVito are credited with the largest sale of Santa Fe Properties history and tend to thrive on large complex transactions. Don approaches real estate in a technical and professional manner; complex and challenging situations are welcomed and, with his broad international business experience, working with people of diverse backgrounds is Don's specialty.

Networks and associations are important not only in terms of giving back to the community at large, but also in facilitating business. Associations and networks include: Christies International Reality, The Society of Exchange Counselors, St John's College, EarthCare International, Santa Fe Association of Home Builders Green Council, Pallative Care Services of Santa Fe and other national and local boards and associations.

Don holds a BS in Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MS in Organization Development from Pepperdine. A twenty year corporate career included positions with TRW and Philips Electronics while living in Holland over several years. As an independent consultant assignments involved Ford Motor Company, Harley-Davidson, LightPointe Communications, Loral, and others. Joint venture experience included Lucent and Philips, the Korean space agency, Taiwanese space agency, and Main Land Chinese companies. This international business experience translates in the ability to work effectively with clients from Europe and Asia.

Don is married to Margie Kufer, an independent consultant in the energy industry specializing in project management. They maintain residences in Santa Fe and San Francisco, California and both readily admit work is their hobby, the more the better.
